Chad Mattock – PCA, Bakersfield

Chad grew up in Somis, a small farming town on the coast of Ventura County where he developed his passion for agriculture. After graduating from Cornerstone Christian High School, Chad obtained his PCA license while attending Ventura College. His first PCA job was working for P-R Farms in Clovis. In 1998, he returned to the coast as a PCA for Western Farm Service.  In 2001, at the request of several growers, Chad started a citrus and avocado spray business which he operated until 2005 when he returned to his PCA roots with Britz Fertilizers in Bakersfield, later purchased by Simplot. Now after 15 years, Chad has decided to break away from the corporate world to  once again work with a family-owned business. Chad’s goal is to continue to build his PCA business with GAR Bennett and potentially relocate his wife, Kristie, and daughter to their citrus ranch in Terra Bella. Chad is an avid railroad enthusiast and in his spare time loves riding his RZR UTV in the desert and sand dunes.
