Brian Hanson – Key Account Manager, Bakersfield Branch
Born and raised in Bakersfield, Calif., Brian attended Chico State and earned his bachelor’s degree in agriculture. After graduation, he returned to the valley to pursue a career in irrigation management. For the last six years, Brian has been working with Kern and Tulare county growers in managing their irrigation systems. He’s now transitioning into a Key Account Manager role for GAR Bennett at the Bakersfield branch, as well ask working to grow automation in Kern county.
Johnny Juarez – Retail Store Salesman, Bakersfield Branch
Johnny is from Bakersfield and currently resides there with his wife. He attended East Bakersfield High School and went on to play college football. After an injury leading to the end of his football career, he finished up school at San Joaquin Valley College and Bakersfield Barber College. Johnny has served as a warehouse manager, inside sales rep, and a trail blazer for growing irrigation departments. His new role at GAR Bennett will allow him to use his knowledge of industrial and irrigation products to troubleshoot issues customers may have. Johnny also has a wonderful daughter and grandchild, and coached football for 15 years.
Jose Flores – Field Service Technician, Reedley Branch
Jose grew up in Cantua Creek, Calif. where he was actively involved in sports at Kerman High School. Throughout high school and directly after, Jose always maintained jobs in the agriculture industry. He previously worked for Simplot before coming over to the GAR Bennett team. Knowing how family-oriented GAR Bennett is, Jose was set on coming to work with us. Most of the time he can be found enjoying family time with his 6-month old baby. Once getting settled into the company, Jose hopes to later become a GAR Bennett PCA.
Luis Nunez – Wash Rack Technician, Reedley Branch
Born and raised in Mexico, Luis later on moved to the Central Valley where he attend Lindsay High School and graduated from Orosi High School. After graduating, he went on to work several jobs in agriculture, from being an irrigator to palletizing and building boxes. Before coming over to the GAR Bennett team, he worked previously with Legacy, Trinity and Wawona. Luis decided to join us at GAR Bennett after hearing about the great opportunities our company has to offer. When he’s able to snag some spare time, Luis enjoys working out and spending time with his family.
Ezekial Garcia – Warehouse Specialist, Reedley Branch
Ezekial is from Orange Cove and attended Reedley High School and Mountain View High School. He has always been a part of the agriculture industry, working in packing sheds and in the field at CeCelias Packing Co. and Wawona Packing. Ezekial had heard great reviews about GAR Bennett’s culture and benefits, and decided it was time to make the change. In his spare time, he enjoys riding bikes, writing, creating art and discovering new music. His goals are to eventually become a homeowner and travel to new places.
Feliciano Hernandez – Warehouse Specialist, Reedley Branch
Originally from Mexico, Feliciano attended Reedley High School and is now transitioning over to our Warehouse team. Before coming to work for GAR Bennett, Feliciano previously worked at American Warehouse. In his spare time, he enjoys welding and doing cement work.
Jared Taff – Key Account Manager, Armona Branch
A resident of Reedley, Jared is married with a son and has a daughter on the way. He attended Reedley High School and grew up working on his family’s farm. Jared previously worked at Sam Jorgensen Pump. Once learning about GAR Bennett and the company’s ability to be a one-stop shop for all grower needs, he decided to transition over to our team as a KAM. When able to snag some spare time, Jared enjoys hunting and riding motorcycles.
