Nick Larmon/GB Escalon Branch Manager was a six time all American, division two springboard diver.  It’s true!  Nick competed in springboard diving at Lemoore High School and walked on to the diving team at Clarion University of Pennsylvania while getting a bachelor’s degree in business.  At one point in his collegiate diving career, he finished sixth in the nation in the one-meter dive.  When asked if he ever aspired to go to the Olympics his answer is a definitive no, “I was just some kid from Lemoore, showing off, having fun and helping pay for my education via scholarship.”

If you spend five minutes talking with Nick – you learn he’s more than “fun”. Nick is focused and motivated to be his best. Consider how he joined GAR Bennett: “I met Adam (Sabourin) and Kurtis (Douglas) 6 years ago at a career fair at Tachi Palace,” Nick reflects. “They told me they didn’t exactly have a job title or knew what department I would end up in but that the company/business was growing and looking for people to grow with them, so I ended up joining the team and started out in GAR Bennett’s Lemoore warehouse, pulling parts and doing data entry working alongside Vee, Jose & Carlos.”

Nick worked several different jobs at GB before being promoted to GB Escalon Branch Manager in 2019.  “I enticed Anthony Carrera from GB Lemoore to join me, and we started with ZERO customers. Our goal was to build the branch by taking care of customers and having fun doing it.” Fun is a theme for Nick.

“We serve growers from start to finish and do it well. Other companies TRY to copy us, but GAR Bennett stands out from the rest.” Oscar Wilde says that ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’ and Nick agrees.

Besides work, Nick finds fun in following the stock market, playing golf with his dad, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers with Family and has a softball apparel company with friends. He also likes to snowboard in the winter and wakeboard in the summer.
