As our team consulted with both parties, the grant was eventually approved to begin work on installing a new reservoir, sand media filter station, and a pump and motor with a VFD panel. Our engineers and designers continued to work alongside the grower to ensure the new installs were tied into the existing system and met all crop water needs. An above ground liner was also added to the reservoir to support well water and district surface water. These installs will allow the grower to efficiently save and conserve water and electricity while continuing to feed the world.
